WHY does many sites say that "if playoffs started now, leafs would play vs habs" ?? that makes no sense. Caps gonna win east so why they dont face wildcard-2 ?
i thought winner of east obviously plays vs wildcard-2 and winner of another division, who dont win east, plays wildcard-1

No? Its caps vs habs and leafs vs sens or the panthers in 1st round.

Unless we get ahead of the sens and the leafs remain on their top seat in the east division we will not face the leafs

you sure? that site still says leafs vs habs and caps vs sens (or panthers if sens end up ahead of panthers)
