If you follow hockey, let alone the caps, you know of the great 8….Father Time catches up with everyone, it’s a different game. Ovi isn’t the same and will never be the same- different to watch him in his 20th season.

The interesting part is that, we all want to see him score like he used to score once again- it’s the anticipation that’s the toughest.

I have accepted to let it be and am actually excited to just watch caps hockey- I treat Ovi as a bonus…even if I want him to score from his office and make the crowd roar.

He got an empty netter tonight, I hope he finds/establishes a role where he can be the difference maker like he has been his whole career- it’s tough, but he’s smart and he’s not selfish….lets go caps!

Hockey is a great game, one that is for the mind as much as it is for the body- it’s fair, it calls itself and it leaves everything on the ice.

I remember one of my 1st like attendances and it was magical! The passing, the movement of the puck…the beautiful game that involved all the guys on the ice- I’m proud to say, I shared my experience with as many people as I could and think they enjoyed watching and experiencing the game just like I did.
