How can anyone say he was fighting for position? He went straight at him with his arms/elbows to shove him from behind.

it was a reckless play. with little to no thought about the well being of the other player.

do i think he intended to hurt him? even though hes a dirty bruin, no i dont think that. hard to believe, considering his dirty bruin aspect i know.

do i think he deserves supplemental discipline? if he got a 5 minute ingame then i would say no. because it was only a 2.... and toews left the game. if toews is injured now i think he should get something, even a fine.

this! toews was just weak this time. doesn't matter anymore because really physical play is banned unless you get lucky. and they're still fighting

I really don't see the toews hit as dirty. It's a 5 on 3 and Seidenberg is doing everything he can to get to the puck and in that case he had to go through the guy with his stick and shoulder. Toews just weak on the puck imo

A 5 on 5 or a 5 on 3, we need to treat an action the same.

Even "if" Toews were weak on the play, its doesnt stop Seidenberg to have enough time to actually see Toews's back and change his mind, furthermore when Toews was first on puck and already won his speed battle to the puck.
