None that I can really think of tbh.

I'm hearing the Habs are shopping Subban, but I highly doubt he actually moves anywhere.

No clue though, wbu?

well id love them to pick up a top 6 forward, so we can move berglund, backes, and brouwer into more of a 3rd line role.

think of a team with lines like:

steen stastny loui erikkson
schwartz lehtera tarasenko
fabbri backes brouwer

and then your 4th line could be something like:

broziak centering some combo or reaves, berglund, upshall, etc

gives us a little more scoring depth to deal with an injury to a top player too

all depends on price too, and we can go for a lesser player, or a guy like boedker, hudler, etc

who knows. we dont necessarily need anything, but we should still be looking to improve because the blackhawks, kings, and stars will be looking to improve too

It never ends this season.

Top player after top player keeps going down with injury. I think the only one of our top players yet to get injured is tarasenko.

Shattenkirk, schwartz, stastny, pietrangelo, and now Steen have all missed time.

Please be back and healthy for playoffs Steen.

Steener is supposed to be re-evaluated in FOUR FUCKING WEEKS.

RRRRRRIP DUDE.

Arguably the best player on the team.

Damn, tough year on the injury front, especially to your top players.

But if you go into the playoffs healthy (somehow) it'll almost feel like you made a couple big deadline additions 'cause you haven't been at full power all year.

I know people want Hitch fired but you have a pretty good record despite all the moving pieces.

hitch is a great regular season coach. he just has no adjustments for good defense in the playoffs.

anyway, youre right, the blues have had their top 3 lines of forwards healthy for exactly 5 games this season.

in those 5 games, the blues are 5-0.

games missed to our key players so far this season:

schwartz- 49
stastny- 18
berglund- 40
shattenkirk- 10
pietrangelo- 6 and counting
steen- will miss 4+weeks
gunnarson- 6
parayko- 3 thank god only minor dings
tarasenko- 2 (flu), our most durable stud
bouwmeester- 4, only minor dings

steve ott has missed a good chunk of the season but meh, and jake allen missed 15 or so games but elliot has been the best goalie in the league since this injury

well next man up. i feel like the cardinals season of ridiculous injuries ended, and the blues picked up right where they left off.

anyway, i wonder if this makes us more aggressive for a top forward.

we already struggle to score goals, so losing steen sucks even more.
