IIRC, if CLB took Puljujarvi and Dubois was available, oilers would have made the trade too

I know this is late af but what I heard was he requested a trade because he's in a contract year and has fallen down the depth chart. He was previously a top pairing guy and now has fallen to like a 10min a game guy. Apparently they just reuinited him with his partner from last year in hopes that would make him play better and get him more ice time so he will stick around.
