it goes both ways,
refs call penalties way far less on the superstars too.
McDavid is a prime example. He gets away with so much, it's also evident he only has 12pims with the amount of ice time he's getting.
he was doing some dirty shit away from the puck last night cuz he was getting frustrated af. He didn't get any penalties called.

nhl officiating is and always will be a joke.
hitchcock is mad cos he played lucic with mcdavid for a bit, probably hoping he would goon it up, but he didnt. so now he's crying about it to the refs/nhl.
hitchcock has to set a better example for the team, instead of making excuses for them. The canucks got 5 power play chances last night, and 3 of them are from delay of game and too many men. Which the refs cant really be poor at officiating at lmao
strange how hitchcock didn't mention poolparty slewfooting like 2 players and not being called for either of em.
He should be the last one to cry about grabbing/holding, when he based his 20+ coaching career on that and his trap system
maybe he's just mad Green is new and he did it better than him?
