Staal played 6 years with Pittsburgh , he was traded before his 4rth and final year of his first contract after his elc.

As I've said before i think Calgary is set pretty nice for the next several years. Just gotta solve your goaltending issue. To bad Vegas was so retarded with their drafting you coulda picked up a solid young backup who ready to start for a second rounder or something. That woulda been better for vegas than the 5th or 4 year down the road picks they been pawning off their selections for.

Guess we have to wait until trade deadline or next draft for Duchene to get traded :/

Not that i can think of... i hate this time of the offseason. Nothing happening.... i start watching old recordings of games that avoided deletion on my dvr.... and then when im done its even worse.. :cry: lmao!

Rick Nash got traded on July 23rd or something. So it does happen . And the assistant gm to the avs is the one that made that trade.
