That was over a week ago, so I'm guessing he's close to practicing, which means he's close to playing.

I would say by the end of next week which is right on schedule for the ~4 week prediction when he was first injured (Jan 7)

Oh my fucking lord. This season is becoming a joke very quick.

The sad part is that we relied on a guy who was supposed to be our 13th forward to be like our best. Even more sad is the thought of how bad we would be if he didn't have a miraculous season.

MG needs to be fired, start the rebuild.

They are saying he's been skating and shooting, and we may get him back maybe 2-3 games before the break

Cam Ward has been sent to the minors for a conditioning stint. Expected to start 2-3 games before being called back up
Bishop is day to day, but seemed fine after the game last night.
Henrik Sedin is close to returning, but still considered day to day
Valtteri Filppula suffered a lower-body injury Thursday in a collision with Ottawa's Eric Gryba on the opening shift of the second period.
Chris Tanev has a broken thumb and is expected to miss 3-4 weeks
Johan Franzen (concussion) reportedly won't represent Team Sweden at the Winter Olympics.
Henrik Zetterberg (back) will not be available for Friday's game.
Mikko Koivu (ankle) hasn't skated with his teammates yet, but indications are that he'll ramp up his work efforts soon.
Pavel Datsyuk (lower body) will not be available to return Friday.
Jared Spurgeon (foot) participated in Thursday's morning skate. Spurgeon is slated to take part on contact drills on Friday and he could be back on Saturday.
