Not this season. I know habs fans like to live in the past, but the rest of the hockey world does not care about what happened 2, 3, 4, 50 years ago

Still, I find price to be more consistent then fleury.. Given the pick between price & fleury most with hockey knowledge and no homerism would hopefully pick price

Except Price is considered the lock to start in Soiichi, while Fleury is barely in the discussion for third string goalie. Just because you're proving again that you're uninformed and obsessed with following my posts doesn't mean everyone else is.

Got a gold sitting in the press box. I imagine for pride reasons he'd want to be the starter.

Recchi, Peverley and Kelly combined for 39 points in the Bruins' cup run. And Penner-Stoll-King still combined for 25 points in the Kings' own run.

in 60 games, while the experienced Penner was the main contributor. The Same can be said about Recchi. His experience was a huge factor. Again with Niedermayer on the ducks.

The Ranger have the experience. They got cup winners, and players who have lost in the finals. This is what I am saying. All around, they have the best lineup on paper in the league. If they can pull it together which I believe Torts can easily do for the playoffs they have one of the best shots.

Agreed. The rangers overachieved last season and they're not even close to that good. They didn't suddenly become a God tier team with the addition of Richards after years of 8th place finishes. They also traded most of their depth in the Nash deal and even on paper their lineup isn't that good. High scoring player + high scoring player + high scoring player doesn't = high scoring line.

Experience isn't always a good thing. Some players cash out and don't play for anything but a paycheck after their name is on the cup. Drury, Gomez, Richards, Jagr, etc.
