Lol k that's a lot
Johnny Hockey scores 78 points and signs for 6,75, no way Eichel's <60 points gets him 9

Eichel's slightly younger and obviously bigger, but his career best is 20 points off of Gaudreau's. I'm not saying he's better, but it sure as hell wouldn't be by a mile.

True, and centers are worth more, but Johnny has a demonstrably better offensive upside. I'm not saying I would turn down Eichel, but a 1-1 wouldn't be an awful trade.
Meaning there sure as hell shouldn't be a 3m+ difference in their salaries imo.
Pls, pls stahp.
Gaudreau was PPG in his 2nd year at 22 years-old.
Eichel was PPG in his 2nd year at 19 years-old (on a sorry team).
Eichel has the potential to be a top-5 player in the league for a decade, and is the type of player that is arguably most important to team success (legit two-way 1C).
Gaudreau is a legit 1st liner himself but there's a big gap in value/worth here.
