Leafs apparently offered JVR+. Oilers definitely had Eberle+ on the table. I guess the Isles valued picks over players. Tavares needs to get out of there.

We've had eberle on the table for hamonic for like 2years, word in the past was they wanted a (better younger) defensemen back.
No excuse for turning down JVR if your trying to get forwards for taveres to play with ...

Wonder if Reinhart, Eberle and a pick would have gotten it done, lel

they got a forward for Tavares to play with in Eberle. Now they need a 2nd line center to round out the top 6 which is why i think they are trying to get Duchene. JVR is a LW and they already have Ladd and Lee as the top line LWs.

Not rienhart lol we just got him from isles, they don't want him back. He 3rd pairing stay at home at best if he ever sticks in nhl.
I could have seen something like Davidson , eberle +pick for strome and hamonic though.
