Take a quick a look at their schedule for February. They are fucked tell the end of FEB when maybe they can squeeze a win out against Florida. Lmao. That's a 14 game losing streak.
Even with them doing so bad there is so much to look forward to this off season. I'm already looking to it now. Future is bright! Sakic better not screw this up.
I'm also starting to question Coach B and wether he has it in him to coach in the NHL. I can see why this type of system ran town in the AHL. He needs to get the team to create offense away from the rush. They rely on it so much.
Yeah at this point it does seem like pulling out a streak of wins would be counterproductive. Maybe they'll get the top two picks with theirs and Ottawa's, and get both Hughes and Kakko.
I've got faith in Joe that he knows what to do. Let's hope he pulls it off this off-season.
And I, too, question Beds. They're to predictable and too easy to outplay with his system. From game to game, it doesn't seem like he's done much in the ways of improving the team performance. And maybe it's on purpose at this point, for the pick, but I still feel like he seems to spend more time on his tan and appearance than actually coaching. It definitely seems that way game after game.
