ill probably play monk on reset

They'll get buffed if there as bad as everyone makes them out to be. I've played only witch doctor and barb so far. I like the mele shit.

what is the point of starting a new character or even playing ladder if there's no way to make money off the game anymore?

For the fresh start + the hype about it.

@Tim: Monk are bad since a terribly long time, I think the monk just have a terrible designer behind it.

It's fun to find more and better items. Literally the whole point of the game. The game isn't for you if you don't like the grind!

They should just remove the monk class and then buff barbs, double it style

There are some cool ideas for monk but too few and far between Zdps stun and or zdps pull monks were amazing, but they are not useful the way they were, or at least they dont seem to be, certainly not compared to the days of crypt runs. WKL monk was cool and unique, but now any char can spec for buff to elemental damage and it doesn't have the same unique advantage it did. Now Monks are just locked into these cookie cutter builds.


I havn't played much RoS and no new patch so maybe im wrong but thats how i see it.

I've just been doing this using splinters.

I use Fetish Syncopath + Carnevil helmet. Also Homunculous + Sacrifice.
