That would likely leave James Neal exposed to Vegas assuming Nash also protects the big 4 Defensemen and Forseber, Arvidson and Johanson.

I guess since he only had 1 year left on his contract, Poile thinks he won't re-sign with Nashville long term.

Pretty disappointing. We did get a big trade a few days ago but only 3 minor deals today.

I guess some stuff will go down at the expansion draft, and there is still a chance for fireworks at the real draft.

Perhaps he has a handshake deal with McPhee for a pick to not take neal.

This is also a rumor thread, nothing 100% confirmed on paper.

Reports indicate that nashville was unable to reach a deal with vegas to hold onto the players Nashville wanted too.

Deals can still be made between vegas and all other teams as vegas goes about its selection process I believe.
