Stepan I think you mean.
Interesting. NYR said they would want a top pair defenseman for him.

Goligoski/schenn/michaelik is all I could think of.

Michalek is a UFA and close to done in the NHL, Schenn is a 3rd-pairing guy at best and Goligoski is left-handed (Rangers want RD) and just signed a long-term deal in Arizona last summer.

Not a chance Rangers get a legit top-pair RD for Stepan anyway. Murphy + something seems like the only fit here.
