It's official. Seasons is pointless. There's absolutely no point in doing them.
Once they roll first season to non season. All season1 legendary specific items will drop in non season.
Soo unless your the top 1%; of players why limit yourself to endgame content playing seasons.

I don't get the point of your post?

Season is all about to be ranked + restart from stratch. Its fun, thats it lol. I still play ladder restart at d2, cuz its fun.

And I'm. Saying. To be ranked you have to be top 1% of players in game time played. Or in other words chojo, a 12 year old who plays 15+ hours a day. Or a bot that is efficient.
You will not be ranked unless you the top 1000 players in game time played.
Why limit yourself to legendary gems and greater rifts for....nothing. or for a legendary that after a few months, non season players can farm. So what? You were first one with new legendary for a few months...who cares.
You want to start over? Make new char and be self found not hard.

Point of post is to show how ridiculous seasons is.

it's so some of the hardcore nerd fans that complain all day that this game has no purpose have something to do for a few months every time ladder resets lol
