I just think there is something fundamentally wrong if an "Active" user mediates an event, and gets his tag removed, even if the event went smooth as a baby's bottom and everyone gets their respective winnings promptly.
The community knows who to trust. We both know many of the actives are practically trusted in the eyes of the community.
I guess as long as everyone strictly agrees that ONLY meds can hold fg then theres no problems. I just think an active should have some more leeway.
I understand the rules are in place to minimize welching, but this seems a bit odd to me.
I see where you are coming from but i dont think the solution is removing the rule
instead the solution is promoting more people to trusted. if you have that level of trust you should get the appropriate tag.
for example i have a active Nba/nfl/mlb tag, but i think some bball users would likely feel uncomfortable sending to me if i walked in and wanted to hold a Bilnd odds.
even though i am trust worthy enough to not be complained about it creates unnecessary risk (be it perceived or real)
and could discourage participation.

We are fixing whatever that typed up list of rules was and releasing a new version. Actives don't always lose their tags for that type of a deal but it's not hard to ask to be sure because some games are 100k plus might not trust to an active etc
The people who are exceptions should just be given trusted tags so that we dont make exceptions to our rules.
