It was originally planned to have Dahlen play with Petey down the road.
Dahlen felt he was rdy for nhl, or at least didn't feel like he was being developed the right way with culls system in ahl.
His agent requested a trade few weeks ago, and benning said that he will try to make a lateral move if they believe it'll improve the canucks.
Kinda doubting cull system too, he plays career ahlers over prospects that need to develop, like Lind, gadjovich, palmu etc.
