I don't think most people even realize the Islanders won the Cup four times in a row. They have blown as a franchise since the early/mid 80's, and failed harder than the Leafs since the 2000's. On the other hand, Detroit is pretty much the organization every team is striving to be and regularly making deep playoffs runs and winning Cups despite the much more competitive game. Who cares if they won x or y cups decades ago, what matters is whether if they can back up their history by being any good nowadays.

As for your comment that I cannot properly discuss hockey, I haven't said anything that wasn't an actual fact, other than blast Toronto and say they will always suck, which is a personal opinion and if you're just going to constantly deny my opinion then that makes you ignorant.

Ok then I guess you're right, Montreal Canadians didn't win twice as many cups as the closest runner-up, and they never had a strong political impact on all of Quebec, Canada even. Oh, and the Toronto Maple Leafs are the greatest dynasty ever, and the only reason they sell out every game with tickets almost 3 times the average price is because they are such a high scoring team and dominate the east.
