Claesson is going to turn into a top 4 I'm sure of it, he is the only other D besides Karlsson that can move the puck out of the zone, and he has good hockey sense

Chabot is just a bonus


I'm down to give whatever to keep Methot/Ceci though, although we would probably lose Claesson after lol

Yeah I don't hate Claesson either, he had some awesome playoffs. We'll see how he develops though, he's not as good as Methot or Phaneuf yet.

I also liked Harpur's game. He's a bit slow and doesn't have the best footwork but when he had the puck he was always making the smart play and had some good breakout passes. I thought he was very good against the Bruins but had a little bit of problem against the speedy Rangers. If he can improve his skating I think he could be a contributor on the Sens blue line for the next couple years.

Harpur needs at least 2-3 more seasons in the AHL. He's big for nothing, doesn't use his size so fucking soft

Teams have to protect the minimum requirements for the expansion draft, so the Flames have 2 days to sign and protect a goalie, lel.

Also Burke called Bennett to tell him he's definitely not getting traded.

Probably what will happen... Both Elliot and Johnson had stretches this year where they were great, and stretches where they were awful. I think Treliving wants to do what he did last year and fire all his goalies to keep the search going for someone more consistent. Rip

Calgary already has 3 goalies in their system that meet the requirement. They just have to be signed, no games played minimum requirement like forwards or D-men.





Bob says Stepan's name is being thrown around because his NTC will kick in July 1. Rangers might look to trade him before that.
