Summer season start next week aye

First game of new summer league tonight. Playing on a division 1-A team, curious to see how it compares to the div 3-4 I play in the Winter with a different league. Plus they want me to play forward all season Hoping I'm not the partank of my team out there.

get a couple extra rolls for the ankles

I'm playing ball hockey this year, i haven't played in a league of any kind since i was like 18. Gonna be fun i have to figure out what equipment people even wear to ball hockey lol

Might get back try to get back into ice hockey this winter.

Extra tape on the ankles for extra speed



I think guys typically just wear Gloves/Helmet/Shinpads/shoes... Man I hate ball hockey. Played 1 game as an adult and retired, way too much running and slashing for me :X

i'm thinking cup too, how bad is the slashing, gloves required? I've honestly never played ball hockey outside of roadhockey and gym class.

played some ball hockey not long ago and def wear gloves

but agree on the running part, I'm not in shape for that, skating is much better. still was pretty fun

It's not terrible unless you're in the corner with the ball in your feet. Lots of guys will just smack at the ball and end up hitting you constantly in the legs. Some guys probably do it on purpose. The carelessness of the sticks is one of the main reasons I hated it so much, obviously the constant running being the other. It's definitely possible that your experience is different than mine though, like I said I only played one full game before deciding it wasnt for me :X

I'd definitely recommend a cup, somehow I forgot the most important piece of equipment.
