He did but he had no hockey IQ and was too stubborn to change his game once he saw that his junior game was not translating to the NHL.

Ottawa paired him with Karlsson for a while and when Cowen had the puck instead of giving it to Kalrsson for an easy breakout he was always trying to it himselft and he would always turn the puck over. I'm confident in saying I've never seen another defenseman as bad as Cowen. Even Borowiecki looks like Bobby Orr compared to him.

Dreger thinks a trade involving Hamonic and Eberle will happen

TSN Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun reports the Toronto Maple Leafs, Tampa Bay Lightning and New Jersey Devils are among the teams “lining up” to trade for Vatanen.

The Arizona Coyotes are listening to offers on goaltender Mike Smith and LeBrun reports the team has received interest from at least three teams.

According to Ben Kuzma of the Vancouver Province, the Buffalo Sabres are looking to land “an established defenceman” this offseason, which is likely the price of acquiring forward Evander Kane.

Friedman thinks Galchenyuk is "likely" to be traded. lol

I feel bad for Habs fans. Gonna be another Subban type trade: Galchenyuk traded for an older, worse, "character" forward.

My guess is Oilers have to retain some, especially because Hamonic is at a good cap-hit.
