It's not a bad deal for Vegas unless they can find a handful of D-men better than TVR, which is hard to determine.

Kruger is overpaid but still a valuable bottom-6 C. Won't produce much but can go head-to-head against top centers.

If Vegas refuses, Chicago could just trade TVR elsewhere and then the best remaining option for Vegas out of Chicago would probably be Kruger anyway.

This would huge for Chicago because there is rumor of the cap going up 3-4M, too.

Because it's not a ranking of how good the players are, it's more like how likely they are to be traded.
