The real question is this - can the Avs win a game before the All-Star break?

Three home games. Kings, Preds, and Wild. All 3 teams are beatable. All 3 are playing better hockey than the Avs have been lately.

I think we go 1-2, beating the Kings and dropping two in a row to go into the break.

I also think some kind of magical awakening happens, and the Avs come out of the break swinging like Ali.

Also, thank you Dallas? We're 3rd in Central again with a Dallas loss to Anaheim. This division is a clown fiesta.

So, I'm at the point where I've accepted that we'll probably see a handful of really nice wins against teams that should bend us over the boards, and then lose everything else.

Rebuild life is hard. But looking at some prospects, both F and D, the future looks pretty bright. Can't wait to get Kaut and Makar, and see Graves get his permanent spot.

It'll be nice to see what the future holds for goaltending, too. Francouz is solid, but he's also almost 29, so I don't really see him being the future.
