The racial segregation is killing the city. In the 90s, people used to talk to each other regardless of their racial / religious backgrounds, now we have way more people yet everyone is stuck in their own community ignoring and despising the rest, feeling lonely. He clearly targeted immigrants; it's not like 3rd generation white people are wearing them, either. Also possible new immigrants have no idea what a poppy is whereas that's obviously not possible for anyone who was raised in Canada.

A anyone who isnt native to this land is an immigrant. I felt like he was targeting not only immigrants that in fact mostly shit on canadian values, but also the people who are seeming to forget why they have rights/ freedom in Canada. But lets ban talking about christmas and being proud about an old tradition yet those same hypocrites dont mind taking the paid xmas vacations/ bonuses.


B 3rd gen white people do wear the poppy.. educated/ respectful/ proud canadians wear the poppy. Liberal/ anti establishment/ easily offended cry babies dont wear them.


C new immigrants do know what the poppy is because most of them come from war torn countries and lobby to have the poppy removed out of sight because the idea of war hurts their feelings.
