Well at least they got him for the 8 years of his prime at this price which is pretty good for stone. + he plays for gallant who is an excellent coach. I think he will do pretty fine in vegas. Yet they pay 7mil for pacioretty who is total garbage without the puck

I disagree. It might not be the majority opinion but I will take more interest in watching the Islanders and other non-playoff regulars compete this year.

To me it is exciting to see other players/teams elevate themselves to a level I have never seen before.

With all of the experienced teams you more or less know what to expect from them and their players. With the inexperienced teams there is a lot more excitement because it is less predictable imo.

im with you on this one, im sick of watching the same old usual suspects.
Something new would be way more fun.
