Holy jesus. 2nd week in, 2nd time any of us had played with each other (team was set up through meetup so no one had even met before last week), we're up against the defending champs. Whole game they were playing dirty as fuck, slashing spots that weren't covered by pads and one of those fuckers jammed my thumb. Going to work with a bunch of welts on my shins. I think they were pissed they only managed to beat us 3-2.

AFK while I pound a fist full of ibuprofin for the swelling.

Spring beer league:
6 wins 1 loss so far- first place
Lost that game to a couple kids that tried out for Tampa last summer and we only had 7 skaters lol

Finally got a goalie- makes a world of difference!

Ha. Exact opposite of us.

Bottom tier team.
They're pretty new with a really good ringer (like, if there are 6 div's he'd be in div 2-3).
Guy plays pretty dirty.
We go up like 6-1.
Their guy throws another cheap shot (after kneeing a couple people during the game).
Our guy retaliates. Shoving match.
Another one of our guys taunts a dude on their bench.
He comes off the bench to fight him.
Benches clear.

My team has a 4-1-0 start.
Only lost to the defending champs 2-4 (their other 4 wins were all 7-0(mercy rule)).
