Mike Komisarek got a fibreglass chip in the eye at practice yesterday according to Randy Carlyle.

Carlyle wouldn't elaborate on how Komisarek suffered his injury, but said it was doing something he regrets.

Shoulder injury. Out 10-14 days.

On the Komisarek injury: He was angry and smashed his stick. As it shattered, parts of it hit his eye.
