Gonna be a tight couple of offseasons... wish we could unload weiss and keep legwand.

Legwand sounded like he wanted to stay in the mitten. Its hard to say of course. Id rather have that money to spend on D but having that insurance for when hanks back acts up could be nice. Weiss has already tried out left wing because he had a poor showing this year. Maybe thats our second line.

Wings need D. I have read rumors of possibly trading franzen for edler or something but of course that isn' happening.
They have so much young talent. Im very curious to see what Holland does. I really hope the handcuffs of loyalty dont eat our cap room lol. Cleary samuelsson ...bertuzzi maybe. These guys gotta go. Bertuzzi makes a good filler on the third line that can play up if there are injuries but the impatient fan in me wants a mini overhaul to get these kids up.

At least they dont even need to consider rebuilding. They really are poised to be good for a while yet. Or at least competitive.

Hey valeck - did you see the proposal at the wings game on Tuesday? Just found out my buddy set it up so that he and his girlfriend got picked for the "3 trivia questions" game and the 3rd one was his proposal.
He said he proposed at the game but I thought it was gonna be one of those regular flashing across the screen "will you marry me" messages. Guess he went a step further.

I saw it!
The crowd had a big reaction. They loved it.

However- my girlfriend (and MANY other women) have warned me: never under any circumstances ever do a sports game proposal.
Some women are just not down with that.

I'm sure she's thrilled though!

Oh yeah I never would lol. She's a hardcore fan though.

How long have the Wings been doing that now?

Its been 3 months since I was to a game and that was the first time I seen the 3 question marriage proposal at the Leafs game, and first time I've noticed they set off the goal horn when the Wings take the ice.
