Before this it was believed that they'd finish off their careers with MODO in Sweden after these current contracts expired. I guess they still could, but they'd be very old if they were to re-sign here again.

They'll definitely resign with Vancouver. We just need to trade Luongo/Ballard before that happens to make some contract room.
Our D is solid for the next 2-3 years at very least. Most of our players we need to retain are on longer contracts now.

and I'm glad Kesler said he's staying out this time for as long as it takes until he's back to 100%. Now he can return to form without risking injury.
