Haven't watched much but based on what I'm hearing/reading, Raty is the one young guy that has stuck out and could earn himself a look early in the season (especially if Blueger is out).

Lekker probably has the skill and IQ to be in the NHL but his overall game and body needs maturity. I think he gets sent down and you reevaluate in the 2nd half of the season if he makes major strides in the AHL. Wouldn't mind him being down there all year but some guys don't even need the full season to get acclimated.

D depth looks like it's going to be concern. Desharnais will probably be okay but Forbort might not be everyday calibre (and of course Wolanin/Juulsen/Friedman we already know are nothing more than #8 guys).
