Abdelkader’s shoulder injury is not serious; he is day-to-day. Red Wings’ GM Ken Holland said that Abdelkader is dealing with a “low-level [shoulder] injury, we’ll see how fast he heals.”

Nah flyers just sucks

So glad Bergevin was not willing to give vinny that contract... sometimes you have to look at the signings/trades NOT done by a GM and not only the moves they did do. 4.5m for 4 more years on an already cap struggling team. A+

Dupuis skated this morning. Still a while before he plays since he's on blood thinners but that's great to see.

Briere signed for 2 years..

briere got 25 pts last season not bad not bad vinny got 20g and 37pts last season
vinny is a better player and if used right can be worth that $$ those years hes signed thers way worse contracts out there

And was great for them in playoffs. Which is what he was signed for. Then icing in the cake was that he got Parenteau.

lol not even close to be as bad. Like others said briere actually did something during his 1 year here and got parenteau out of the deal. Not even mad

2 years is low risk.. flyers gave him 5 years... he is unmovable
