I don't want big Z to leave :(

Same, but if rumors are true that he's looking for close to 6m avv, he's a goner.
Can't afford to overpay him.

If Joshua goes, I wonder if alvin will trade garland if there's a huge return for him.

UFA market is always wild.

a crazed gm is going to see his strong playoff run and throw a bunch of money at him.

Sadly he has likely priced himself out of Vancouver.

It's not sensible to keep him if he is asking 5+. Hell there is probably a team out there that will offer even more than that.

Sry bud I'm cheering for luongo

Friedge: Big Z willing to sign bit under what he can get in FA. Org close to that number but not there yet. Org willing get to the 7x7 range for Lindholm. Friedge doesn't know if it's enough. Time in van started rough but ended up enjoying it.

Lol I feel like Zadorov really really loved it in Vancouver. Seemed like he wanted the money, but realized he would rather stay in Vancouver than move elsewhere for more money. MacIntyre reported that there was a huge traction in z and lindholm contract negotiations last night, but mielstein (z agent) tweeted back fake news and shut that down...

If lindy signs 7x7, it's a bit risky as he will be 37 when contract expires, but that's a good damn deal considering he's a RHD center. Beats horvats 8.5m til he's 36 imo. Problem is how is alvin gonna improve this team with all this signing? Gotta find a ton of bargain deals like Florida did haha

such a shame Demko went down, we had a lot of overperforming contracts and partial caphits from trades. team still exceeded expectations but could've caught lightning in a bottle. next season will be hard without cap advantages.

Apparently Lindholm turned down a $49 million dollar offer.

Who knows if it's true... Just about anyone can start a rumour.

Going to lose some pieces. Hopefully next year gaining some playoff experience will be the difference.

Above all else Petey needs to perform and the rest of the team needs to stay healthy.

Yeah its a low ball offer, and way too expensive to play 3c for the canucks. Didn't make sense for either party. Even if he somehow meshed with petey or Miller as a winger, it wastes his strong attribute to play center, RHD, etc.

He rejected 9x8 with the flames, so there was no chance he was gonna take 7x7 offer. He's gonna get more in FA from CBJ or Boston and play 1c.

Gonna be a different team, won't be surprised if the Canucks are back to wild card team next season if their pro scout magic doesn't work out as it did last season.

Hronek is expected to get traded at the draft if they don't agree on their contract.

Zadorov is willing to take a discount to stay in Vancouver, but if he was asking 6mil avv and 5.5m is his discount, it's still premium for a 5/6 dman that can occasionally play top 4 and not much of a discount imo. Rather they get Dhillon or some other huge dman who's a lot cheaper.

Joshua apparently linked to Yzerman, offering 4m range. Pass, he can go.

The only player that may come back is myers, but even he's a question mark. Cuz I think alvin gonna try to push for absolute minimum discount like 2.5m or so.

Ya.... It's a real shame. Feels like everything came together last year.

Had players overperforming on their contracts, got some rentals that made a big difference, improved significantly.

Then we had Demko... Boeser out in game 7. Just brutal.

Now we are going to lose players. Feels like a short window just closed and now we will be back to scrapping for a playoff spot.

Time will tell. some players overperformed and priced themselves out of Vancouver .That is how it goes.
