Apparently Lindholm turned down a $49 million dollar offer.
Who knows if it's true... Just about anyone can start a rumour.
Going to lose some pieces. Hopefully next year gaining some playoff experience will be the difference.
Above all else Petey needs to perform and the rest of the team needs to stay healthy.
Yeah its a low ball offer, and way too expensive to play 3c for the canucks. Didn't make sense for either party. Even if he somehow meshed with petey or Miller as a winger, it wastes his strong attribute to play center, RHD, etc.
He rejected 9x8 with the flames, so there was no chance he was gonna take 7x7 offer. He's gonna get more in FA from CBJ or Boston and play 1c.
Gonna be a different team, won't be surprised if the Canucks are back to wild card team next season if their pro scout magic doesn't work out as it did last season.
Hronek is expected to get traded at the draft if they don't agree on their contract.
Zadorov is willing to take a discount to stay in Vancouver, but if he was asking 6mil avv and 5.5m is his discount, it's still premium for a 5/6 dman that can occasionally play top 4 and not much of a discount imo. Rather they get Dhillon or some other huge dman who's a lot cheaper.
Joshua apparently linked to Yzerman, offering 4m range. Pass, he can go.
The only player that may come back is myers, but even he's a question mark. Cuz I think alvin gonna try to push for absolute minimum discount like 2.5m or so.
