lots of open space good too see creativity from guys like gostisbehere and delzotto laughton ect ect
goalies get lots of good shots against and its good to see how stolarz does since hes prob the ahl starter this year
you dont have to watch it theres a preseason game tm im watching it cuz i dont really watch anytthing other then flyers when season starts this is where i get to see prospects preseason n games like this

akeson and rinaldo have looked good together i wouldnt be surprised to see them on the 4th and bellmare is pretty much penciled as the last guy on the 4th
on the d morin has looked pretty good and gostis too but i dont think either stick around to be the 7th but schultz has sucked major ass maybe if delz isnt working out we see 1 of them sldie into the 6th d slot for a bit

Went to the game and took the following away from the game:

Atkeson aka baby giroux looked very solid. He has creativity and deserves to be on this team. I wouldn't mind seeing him on the first line after baby schenn blows (hoping this is not the case)

Sammmmy Morin should be on this team. He is a lot faster than j thought. Is able to make moves in the offensive zone. Has a sick shot. Destroys people. And most importantly...is way better than half our defenseman alrewdy on this roster.

MDZ...just awful wow lol...now I see why the Rangers and preds gave up on him. Was worth a flier to see how he plays but holy shit that was just terrible. No way he should make it over Morin or Ghost.

Umberger should play the 4th line.

The French kid has talent. I believe he will be like another Raffl. He will probably steal laughtons spot which is okay because he can play 4th line. This allows Vinny to stick with center and he looked solid last night.

I love Vinny replacing Hartnell on the first powerplay. Makes sense as he has the one time left hand shot in the slot. I miss Kimmo but streit will be able to replace him if not be an upgrade on the power. Defensively that's another story.

Pk looks solid. Berube is a pk whore so he must stress the shit out of that in practice.

pretty sure akeson and morin both make it specially after gostis and laughton got sent down today...and morin was on the 1st pairing with coburn that says a lot to me i bet he sticks around for the 8 games at least
i agree i like the bellmare signing and agree with streit..hes looked really good offensively in the preseason and has a better shot then timo and isnt afraid to let it go
vinny does look good he looks much quicker then he did which is good becase hes still got everything else just didnt have the speed but its semi back
delz hasnt looked bad but not great... would be surprised to see him the 7th and morin slotted in though thats kinda the vibe im getting at this point

Mdz played reckless and cost us at least 5 scoring chances going the other way. And he doesn't skate well enough to get back. I'd prefer ghost.

tbh neither looked that great throughout the entire preseason morin has looked better delz has had some ups and downs but i think with a guy like that you give him some time and he can steady up his game hes proven he can play at a high level
if morin sticks around its delz as 7th and schultz in ahl/8th ghost will be getting prop top line mins in the ahl and 1st pp unit which would be better for him developing and dealing with players that are stronger and more skilled then what he faced at union

im excited about the ahl team this year though leir laughton cousins straka ghost hagg stolarz some good prospects it might actually be a winning team this season

and blair jones hasnt looked too bad either i wouldnt be surprised if he gets a deal when the season starts
