Good job Kovy. Now that's how we should play boys. Much better game except for the last 2 minutes of the 3rd. Leclaire played well enough to get the W

wow really??

Pascal Leclaire is not injured again.

It just looked that way for a few moments during Senators practice Tuesday morning.

Leclaire was felled by a Jason Spezza shot that hit an unprotected area of his right knee. The injury-prone goalie remained on the ice for a minute or two, but did get up and finished the practice, although much of his remaining time on the ice was spent stretching.

"Just a little bruise, a little stinger. I'll be all right," said Leclaire. "That happens a lot of times. It sucks for a couple of hours but it'll be all right."

Leclaire is expected to start in goal Wednesday night when the Senators host the Dallas Stars, who are coming off a 4-1 loss in Toronto.

Leclaire made 28 saves to pick up his first win Monday, a 3-2 decision over the Los Angeles Kings.

Coach Cory Clouston would not say whether he'd re-insert Erik Karlsson, who was a healthy scratch against Los Angeles. Clouston did indicate he was pleased with the defensive pairings Monday, however.

According to Clouston, Chris Neil is likely to play against Dallas. Neil suffered an upper body injury in a second-period fight with Kevin Westgarth and did not return.

They may have snapped a three game losing streak last night against the Kings but the rumours continue to swirl around the Senators this morning.

Last night, Aaron Portzline of the Columbus Dispatch reported that two Sens scouts were in attendance to watch the Jackets take on the Predators. Among those in attendance, Sens Director of Player Personnel Pierre Dorion.

I've also received word that there were a couple of scouts from Columbus watching the Senators last night as well. Some have speculated that the Sens may have been showcasing Nick Foligno.

The struggling forward played over 17:00 minutes. The Jackets may also have an interest in Brian Lee.

Yeah, the sooner Lee get traded, the better imo. Foligno though.. he's still young but.. will he ever become a good 2nd liner ? To me, he's a 3rd liner at best.. But can play on the 2nd if someone is injured or whatever for a short amount of time. I'm curious what we could get for Foligno.

Foligno has the speed and skill to be a 2nd liner.. but the skill is on vacation right now, he still works hard though
