Lol depth guys carried this game. So nice to watch the Canucks have nhl depth players rather than fringe nhlers that we were used to.

Vancouver Canucks are 17-0-0 when leading after 40 minutes.

Quite nice to see the Canucks able to lockdown games after leading in 2 periods, a complete 180 change from last season when even multi goal leads didn't mean shit cuz the Canucks would throw at the end lol.

Elliotte Friedman tells 1025TheGame that he expects "one if not two" of the Preds defensemen to end up going at some point

Welp, since the Canucks are out on bear, I guess fabbro is back in equation. Preds aren't too happy with fabbros performance. Hopefully he's not too costly.

Well they're pretty much the same team, except alvin managed to get some nhl players for depth instead of pretending to believe their fringe nhl players are the answer.

Alvin completely changed the D core within the year, adding Hronek, Cole, soucy, Zadorov, which are all nhl players. Hughes doesn't have to play like 30min a night with players like Schenn or juulsen, and got some actual help. Upfront is pretty much the same, Adding lafferty, Suter, blueger, are huge.

Term priority for Zadorov, idk what magic alvin and castonguay can cook up, but I don't like the idea of paying soucy 3.5m and Zadorov 4m+ unless they're for sure playing #3/4 etc... I see them as 4/5 tbh.

Z has been great so far, a deal with the nucks really depends on him keeping it up over a season. But imo there will be at least one team willing to give him lots of term so I don't think he'll be on the roster next season.

Kuzmenko draws back in tonight.

Hope to see a strong showing from him.

1st in the league in points, tied for 2nd in points%

Different contributors every night... sometimes it's Miller's line, sometimes it's the 3rd line, sometimes it's the goaltending, sometimes it's Hughes.

Lots of things going right for the Canucks and they are earning it with hard work, but it'll be interesting to see if they are just riding some luck or if they are the real deal.

Hopefully the 2nd half of the schedule is a bit more relaxed so the team can get in good rest and practices in.

Roster wise, top-6 forward and 2nd pair defensive RD are still major needs.

Against a weaker team ofc but seeing a bunch of different players score is always nice.

Seeing the grinders play well and contribute. If they can keep that up we will be tough to beat.

Kuzmenko made a statement after being scratched. Don't see how PDG gets back in anytime soon.

The defensive breakdows are still glaring though..... A lot of terrible plays in the San Jose game. That has to tighten up or the team won't get anywhere in the playoffs.

Mistakes glossed over by a high-powered offense and contributions down the roster.

Its been Miller line earlier in the season and now its garland line. Petey line needs to have a turn cuz so far his line has been meh. If he can perform like end of last season, then the Canucks should be able to sustain their play.
