Helsinki health care district held a phone meeting with Shanghai district in China. One key info the they shared was that positively tested individuals can be virus positive for up to five weeks.
So even if you are healthy after the initial symptoms subside, the virus is still very much alive in your lungs for weeks.
I know most people here have given up on hockey to be played this year, but if this is indeed true, then there's absolutely no chance to play given the timeframe it takes to kill any traces of this virus.
depends does alive in your lungs mean effect them in any way? if not i dont see this being a problem
they have already stated once "recovered" you can no longer spread it and have built up an immunity to it and its very unlikely to get sick again from it unless its a variation of the virus
if they now know the virus lasts 5 weeks thats good last i read hey knew it stayed in your body but it sounded like a way longer period
but the virus in your body doesnt seem like a big deal once recovered specially now they seem to know it goes away in 5 weeks before it sounded like years down the line it might be an issue
