Mikheyev is either not ready to play physically or scared to get re-injured. He was signed for elite speed, defensive play and disruption and is offering none of those things right now.

Petey is an enigma. I don't understand him. Is he just struggling or is he hurt? It's always speculation with this guy because his play drops so much it makes it easy to think an injury is the cause.

Soucy was holding it down on the back end. It's a long term hole with him out.

Mikheyev and PDG need to find their game. If they can't someone else should get a shot.

Big game today in Calgary. The Canucks need to get out of this holding pattern of winning one game then losing the next. Going at .500 is not good enough. The early lead that was built will soon be erroded if this continues. I just want to see this team make the playoffs.

lol zadorov already knows like half the players on the team. Hopefully he can adjust very well on ice, off-ice shouldn't be hard. And Myers is absolutely tragic on the ice. I cannot WAIT to not have watch this guy in a Canucks uniform. Only about 2/3rds of a season remaining, at most.

As usual, Myers looks halfway decent with a babysitter but the moment they go down the chaos giraffe emerges again. Absolutely criminal that Soucy makes half Myers' salary while being several times better.

I think they'll just use him and let his contract expire. When he was sheltered and played 5/6 role he was basically a premium 3rd pair dman. Ever since soucy got hurt, it forced more minutes for myers cuz juulsen and co. Are much worse if not the same. Unless they sign bear and find another RHD, I don't think myers will be dumped or traded.

Game last night was exciting but holy hell the player coverage was so bad, like how can they let 4 high danger chances out of 8 shots in the first period? Njd are fast, but I don't think speed killed the team, rather players not covering their man costed them this game.

Kuzmenko needs to really get his shit together. Bruce was the perfect coach for him, but he seems to not agree with Tocchet. It's alarming that he's ignoring what Tochett wants him to do, and just doing his own thing. Like Tocchet wants 30s shifts for his players so they can go 110% when on the ice. Kuzmenko stays minute or longer each shift, which fucks up the line changes, momentum, and he doesn't have much gas to do shit anyway. Probably why Tocchet benched his ass cuz the dude is trying to force more toi
