without franzen, zetterberg, and datsyuk, it wouldnt hav mattered.

jimmy howard injuries didnt matter much, hes an average goaltender. the other guys are grinders and 3rd liners, but even if they didnt get hurt the wings would be maybe in 7th or 8th in the east and preparing for an early exit.

hes about the same as halak, gets hot for a stretch, but follows it up with a subpar set of games. hes inconsistent.

i watch many games from many teams.

i stream alot of games on my computer and watch.

I too like to make accusations of people i know nothing about, so its all good.

stat lines dont tell anything, most of the time they tell past performance better than future performance. (ie: howard)

I get bored. You're still minimalizing the issue to two players which is asinine.

Hahaha, sour blues fan because they have been trash for a good dozen years, when was the last time they were even considered candidates to get past round one!!!

those 2 players are the heart and soul of detroit, and without them, the team cant function on anywhere close to the same level.

they are also 2 of the top 20 or so players in the nhl when healthy. the red wings will be deeper and able to sustain absences from these 2 players in the future, but just not yet.

clearly we have a difference of opinion here, but im not trying to flame you or the red wings.

this current team with a normal amount of injuries (lets say weiss actually plays some games and datsyuk and zetterberg only miss a combined 20 games), would make the playoffs and have an early exit, especially in the west which was my original statement.
