I thought Brown was the most impressive player in the first. I really like his game, I think he could start here and get send down once Brassard returns.

Would you guys dump Ceci + for Duchene?

Even though a lot of people fucking hate on Ceci, he really has become an important player for us, especially as a shutdown guy. guys like Claesson and Chabot are going to be better players than Ceci, I feel like we could move him.

Duchene would push Brass down to 3C, imagine fucking Duchene, Turris, Brass, Pageau as our centres

pretty sure is the reason why sakic didnt accept the trade.
He's most likely lookin for chabot at least

I'm on the fence when it comes to Cici. I like him, but I don't think it'd hurt the team if he was moved. I'd be ok with him staying too though.

They want either Ceci or Chabot, and we don't want to do it. Out of those 2 you gotta think Ceci is far easier to replace

We're using Ceci as a shutdown guy but he's pretty much just mediocre in that role, and he's not offensive at all. I wouldn't mind it. He's a hometown guy though, which is the toughest part imo

I would think the Sens already offered something like Ceci + 1st + roster forward and Sakic said no.

He's likely looking for a D-man with legit 1st pairing potential in a 1-for-1 type deal.

i got this love hate relationship with ceci

he's just too inconsistent right now and his development could go either way

i do feel like we need to try and win within the next few seasons, not sure if duchene is the guy though?

Within the next few seasons? Our time to go for it is right now. Our lineup is now older, Anderson won't be around for much longer and if he is there's no guarantee that he will be as good.

I would hate to see us not try to win it, that being said our depth isn't terrible as is
