i had a friend date my sister and he was with her for 2 years, things just didnt work out, they arnt the best of friends but they are not rude or weird around each other and im still friends with him.
There's always a reason to kick someone's ass if they're dating your sister. I don't see the problem, can't let that hold you back.
Though I would be protective of my sister if she dated one of my friends. Haven't had the best relationship with her boyfriends. My boot got pretty well acquainted though.
