Trump asks medical supply firm 3M to stop selling N95 respirators to Canada. And US intercepts medical supplies bound for Canada and steals them off the tarmac yesterday. Just another reminder that there is nobody dumber than a fucking pro-Trump Canadian.

Canada sells the wood that they use to make these masks, we just need more Canadian manufacturing imo

Tried to go to the grocery store after work today... Lineup out the door.

Kind of wish they stuck to giving us 1 day off without pay as they were going to do previously vs a half day on Fridays.

By noon the place was so crowded I just drove by, saw the lineup outside the ramp and drove away.

I guess people are still hoarding like morons..... I just want some basic things but it is not going to be easy I guess. Maybe I will try late tonight and hope most of the people are drunk or have gone already.

3rd covid case at the port

probably more coming
some guys are at home for 7-14 days and are being tested

meanwhile our awesome boss ''who's priority to to take care of our health'' won't tell us who's being tested so we could be aware of what's going on

instead he'll wait the 4-5 days before telling us he's positive and meanwhile that one guy that has been having small symptoms for the past 4-5 days kept working instead of getting tested cuz it's almost nothing
turn out he's also positive and now it's a real fuckfest cuz meanwhile he worked on 2-3 other terminals and met 100 more guys

this is the one way to shut down the port

the laws won't allow us to shut it down for even 2 days because a strike would hurt the country so badly..as they say
but meanwhile we can all get the covid and stay at home for 14 days

it's more then likely we'll just shut down the port for 14 days because of the covid
it is coming..i have no doubt about it

i honestly wish every single on of my boss to get the covid
every single one of them
and i wish the worse for them

please god, make it happen

i swear

this is one thing I'd be ready to pray for ...every single day

they are doing so little it's pathetic

meanwhile their office is ''closed''
but they can come in our room and talk to us
but we are not allowed to go to theirs

fuck off, piece of shit

Corporate is a fucking joke.

They put themselves and their bonuses first. They don't give a shit if you die..... So long as they get paid.

High likelihood if you are high up in a company you are a sociopath.

My work is sending out letters to distributors, customers and delivery companies stating they will be closed at noon on Fridays to disinfect the building.

It is a lie. They cut our hours to save money and funnel that money to branches in Alberta to keep upper management from being laid of in that Province.

It seems like every company I end up with has way to many positions in upper/middle management and not enough workers. All that results in is needless micromanagement and harassment towards workers in a pathetic attempt to convince themselves and those around them they are worth their bloated salaries.

It amazes me those who get paid the least and do more than their fair share of work will be the first laid off, while those who are overpaid and do virtually nothing will stick around.

Which store? Usually big box grocers with lots of parking are the worst ones.

This was at the Superstore in Port Coquitlam.

Last week I went to Save on Foods. Less selection and more expensive but it may have to do again this time around.

Ya it is crazy.

Meat is still hard to come by and every time I have gone to the store all the toilet paper is cleared out.

Good thing I bought a decent amount of shit tickets when they were on sale a month prior to all this happening lol.
