Datsyuk won't want that much if he isn't retiring. If he signs it'll be a short (2-4 yrs) contract for around his same hit, imo. I don't see him even entertaining offers from another team. He's lived in two places his entire life, if he moves again it's back to Russia.

he had a concussion. it took him a while to get back into game shape then we were playing well so there was no need to call him up
