Hopefully the flyers can get a decent trade for a young guy. He's way past his prime and the only reason he hasnt been traded from the Flyers is because no one wants him because he has a extremely short NHL time frame remaining.

Nobody is going to trade anything decent for him. Philly should be happy just to get rid of his contract for free.

he got 20g and 37p in 69 games last year which would be 43 in 82 and hes averaged about 50 the 2 years before on tampa in like 70 games a season
only reason tampa bought him out was cuz he was like 7.8m or something hes still a good player ...a lot better then you guys give him credit for and value him at
if he gets traded its prob for like a 2nd or 3rd+ later picks

apparently he came into camp really in shape though and hes being slotted in as the 3c with umburger and raffl through camp
+ now hes adapted to the systems and hes lived in philly for a year after being in tampa for like 14 or something that had to be a huge change for him guy hasnt relocated since he was a rookie

He's not a top-6 center on a Stanley Cup team anymore, so you're paying 4.5M for a 3rd line center that doesn't PK. He's also older and likely not going to turn his career around.

He's worth nothing good.

he doesnt pk becasue we got good pk guys like couts n read then giroux n voracek usually come out at the tail end of it

Hes kinda like Brad Richards and there are worst contracts out there. If he is in better shape atm and he stays healthy I'm happy he stayed
