Looking pretty good of late, the effort from the top players really seems to be there and it's probably most evident with Miller.

Pettersson is elite right now.

Powerplay is looking spicy af. They're whipping it around with precision and purpose.

Talent has always been there on paper. It's still not an elite team but they should be able to look like this more regularly.

not much different from the Travis Green days tbh. when the forwards are on they run up the score, but the backbone is never strong enough to hold up without godlike goaltending.

True, but the goaltending hasn't been out of this world, just good enough.

As much as we rely on the goalie too much, he's still part of the team, and every team expects the goalie to make some difficult saves.

Bear and OEL both settling down has made a big difference.

Apparently wolanin has been doing great in the ahl. I remember he was quite impressive in camp. Imagine he turns out to be something in the NHL in the future, but there's no space for him with Hughes and oel.. Unless he just becomes a solid 3lhd depth. Where all them RHD at?!

AFAIK Wolanin always had potential, going back to Ottawa, just injuries messed him up.

And yeah he was good in preseason other than the last game I think and that cost him a spot. But it always seemed coaches/management had Rathbone and Dermott ahead of him, and then Brisebois got called up instead lol.

There's no way he's worse than Stillman. Absolutely bizarre how this guy stays on the roster.
