“One source close to the situation suggested Rutherford originally planned to stick with the status quo until American Thanksgiving weekend... It appears we might hear something much sooner if these Toronto meetings involve a change in plans.”

Well it wasn't pretty but at least it wasn't ugly.

I would say maybe it's something to build on but that's what we said after the Ottawa win lol

So who knows.

i dont think it even matters if the Canucks go on a tear and wins at a .700 rate and make the playoffs. This core is way too fragile to even survive the playoffs. They can't hold a 2+ goal lead confidently in the regular season, it's only gonna be worse in playoffs.
This team is a mess,on/off the ice. I've never seen president of hockey OPS blasting their coach like that when hes not the problem. Like shit, if ur gonna do that, fucking fire him and go hire the bitch you want. (rumor is andrew brunette, who is also not known for structure LOL)

I don't expect this team to be anything but we just need to see some positive signs to give us some hope that things are salvageable going forward.

That said, blowing it up completely is likely the best route. To make this team a contender we would need to hit hard on like 3 big trades and have a prospect or two come out of nowhere.

Not likely but it seems management has no interest in a proper rebuild ("the more things change...")

yeah JR/alvin seems like they dont wanna rebuild and wanna re-tool. Oh well looks like the Canucks will be meh for another decade. Aqualini the best owner ever, his vision and plan set this team back for so long lmao. Other NHL teams won and rebuilt faster than what we are today ouchhh

Glad to have Lazar back, he definitely lead the pack. I think he was way too excited to be back lol he had like 5 hits or something hits not too long into the game. Definitely made others play with some energy.

Kings were terrible yesterday, they missed a lot of opportunities that better teams would've capitalized on. Like during their pp, they had 2 kings in front of Demko with no Canuck dman in site as usual, and they whiffed 2on0.

Pacific is so bad, Canucks should technically be long gone but somehow still in the race. Jesus.. The Canucks are picking 15 to 18th aren't they?

We played well but yeah it was closer than the score indicated, Kings were definitely off.

We're still technically "in the race" but there's like 6 teams in the way of the 2nd wildcard spot. It's going to be like this all season, where we're only a handful of points out, but when you consider how many teams are battling for 1-2 spots, it's really not as close as it'll seem.

JR storms off, turns out the goal was disallowed.

Wonder how he reacted on the actual GWG.

This team

How good is Pettersson looking though... all around force.
