After OEL's solid season last year we were hoping that the wheels may stay on for at least a few more years but that looks bleak right now.

Accountability only works if it's fair. If fairness existed, Boeser would be scratched soon. But there is no real fairness, so Bruce is cutting off his own legs with his asinine lineup decisions.

I don't want to criticize Petey too much because he's probably been our most consistent performer and is working hard and producing @ both ends of the ice but dude needs to hit the net more and be more of a shooting threat. He has the shot but it's moot if you can't hit the net.

Feel bad for Pod. He seems like a great kid and is probably being hard on himself for his slow start. Fought out of frustration and paid for it. Greer is an absolute pussy lol

Utmost respect for Schenn. Plays well above his capabilities and does an admirable job. Always brings the physicality and work-ethic, stands up for his teammates, seems like a true professional. Like Tanev this guy almost feels like the real captain with how he conducts himself on a consistent basis.

With Rutherford publicly slamming Bruce and Blueberries known to interfere in operations, you have to wonder if roster decisions are political at this point. Scratching the guy with the big new contract and the new hole-plugging acquisition for simply being bad would make the front office look terrible and hit a nerve with ownership.
