Anchorman 1 was awful as well. Apparently wolf of Wall Street is fantastic

Anchorman 1 at least had some good one liners. This one is just not funny at all. Absolutely no redeeming qualities.

He's not my kind of funny but he's some people's kind of funny. I don't like Steve Carrell style humour far worse than Ferrell. Awkward humour isn't funny.

I normally agree, except for when it comes to Dr. Steve Brule (played by John C. Reilly)

They are always screaming at the top of their lungs, I don't find them very funny

Not optimistic about 2, just cause of the sequel thing lol

I loved Anchorman when it came out, but I guess I just grew away from that type of humor. The sequel could have been good, but when you wait 9 years in between, you're not doing anything but milking the name. I don't know why anybody bothered going.

if you don't like will ferrell how do you expect to like a movie centered around him?

The first one was hilarious cuz it was supposed to just be some throwaway movie. The majority of it was improvised and was just will ferrell and the other actors fucking around trying to make each other laugh. It just felt like they were trying too hard. I think I was a little over an hour into the movie when I walked out which is about 50 minutes longer than it deserved.
