just tons of industry specific stuff that dosent make sense to someone who isnt dealing with it.

and teaching terminology and short hand.

its just kind of tough to understand some of this stuff until you get thrown into the mix

Yeah I get ya... patience is key ;)

I used to train engineering students for summers... that was something else. One guy was making PVC tubes to certain lengths and somehow fucked it up... like literally measuring tape and hack saw and could easily be +/- 4 inches and still work. Worst part is they all had bad attitudes because they think that being an engineer makes them the smartest human to walk on the planet.

wanna explain what saved you having a dash cam? I'm interested... I know in Russia they are huge because of Insurance fraud being rampant over there.

900% chance I cant wheel it anyways, send her my pics

Had 2 incidents

1 was at a 4 way stop, I made a full stop (dash cam shows my speed at 0) then made my way. the other driver just rolled/stop and just yolo 'd thinking she got there first and she was looking at her left. She stopped as soon as she could but still hit my driver's side front headlight area. Icbc said need witness or its 50/50,even if the law says right side has right of way too and need some sort of proof that I was there first cuz she claims she was.

2nd was some asshole hit and run, we were parallel parked. The car parked in front drove too far back and hit the front of my car, triggered my cam and showed the cars license and car driving away.

Icbc is incompetent as fuck, it's actually enjoyable to troll them a bit and see what excuses they come up with to do their best to not actually do their job, that we PAY for lmao. Then you show them solid proof, and what they do? Get on that shit like bbc cuz it's spoon fed over to them.

There was a job I did a while back for Air Liquide, propane bottle filling station. When the time came to pressure test the piping/tubing system the engineer was there to witness it. Her mind was literally blown by the fact that soapy water could be used to detect a leak. Spent 1/2 hour loosing off fittings just so she could watch in awe as it worked every time.

What do you do. A flower farm that supplies the flower shops? Own some greenhouses that she has to maintain ?

hahahaha holy smokes thats classic. So many engineers these days never work any type of blue collar job and when the time comes that they show up in a shop they are useless. All that education but ask them to build a shed and they'd look at you like you have 3 eyes.

Damn that's actually sweet that yours saved you a lot of money and headaches. A guy at work has one and he says he's never used it for anything but has it none the less.
