quite impressed BB spreading out the TOI among hte forwards, to keep them fresh legged and have them at 110%. Green's dream came true, rolling all 4 lines evenly.
Aside from Hughes TOI, the backend was relatively evened out as well

dunno how bruce is doing .688% with the team despite the joke of special teams the Canucks have... probably the only team in the NHL that allows a 1on3 while being on the powerplay

One of the 1st few games that the Canucks won without relying on Demko being a wall. So the Canucks with the same roster under bruce is playing at 118pt pace while under green, they were playing at a 60pt pace. Is this the largest coach diff in history? Roster hasnt changed, special teams are still a joke but not historically the worst anymore.

I don't think just Green being replaced would have had the same effect as we got with the full house cleaning. It was a breath of fresh air for the market as a whole.

Going back to the Toffoli/Tanev/Markstrom debacle, I don't think the players had much confidence in management in general. There were rumors that the players were not happy at all with how things played out and you can't blame them considering how important Tanev and Markstrom were to the team both on and off the ice... they were like the actual captains.
